Buck Rogers
Earth Starfighter from "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". Originally intended to be the Colonial Viper, the design was modifed and became, in my opinion, one of the nicest looking fighters ever, and the high point of the series. Two other versions were seen on the show, a larger, four-seat version, and a souped up version built for Buck. These drawings are based on an excellent series of schematics by Alan Sinclair, which can be found here.
Command & Conquer
Orca Command Airship 3A Kodiak By Ato After the first Tiberium war, GDI began to focus on overseeing massive evacuations from Tiberium infected areas and supressing the the disperate splinters of the Brotherhood. This required unparralled command and control facilities that not only needed to have an overview of whole operations areas but also to quickly focus in on hotspots and flashpoints. With advances in the technology that brought GDI the Orca gunship came the Orca Command Airship. As a fully functioning airborne command post with its own dedicated EVA tactical AI, the OCA could fulfill all GDI's needs and more. It could carry two Orca troop transports, had enough point defence system to protect itself from Nod attacks and was capable of achieving orbit to interface with UN spacestations like the Philidelphia. The main disadvantage of these airborne command posts was their susceptibility to ion storms, however at the time this was deemed acceptable due to these weather phenomenon being confined mostly to tiberium infested red zones. The first production OCA was the Alaska, epyonymous for her class, and was under Commander Cortez until his promotion to General of the Southern Cross base. The Kodiak is the third ship in the Alaska class and was commanded by the famed GDI commander Micheal NcNeil during the Second Tiberium war. She took part in every major campaign of the war and was their at Kane's last stand at Cairo. Unfortunately she was downed by the global Ion Storm that ravaged the planet shortly after the battle for Cairo, killing McNeil and his command staff.
Orca Command Airship 6B Aurora By Ato After the Ion storms had subsided and the Kodiak's loss was discovered the Southern Cross station under the command of General Cortez (Having taken over command of ground based GDI forces when communications to the Philidelphia were lost) scrambled the Aurora, under Commander Granger (previously on the Lazarus project), out of McMurdo air yard to take control of GDI forces in Africa. The Aurora then went on to command troops against CABAL's cyborg armies during the Firestorm Crisis. The Aurora was the sixth ship of the second batch of Alaska class OCAs, with several improvements over the Kodiak and her sister ships. She was resistant to Ion Storm interference and had an EMP coil for point defence work capable of disabling incoming missiles and harrassing fighters.
Orca Command Airship 4A Kyushu By Ato The Kyushu was a sistership of the Kodiak and had regional command of the GDI forces in the south east asian yellow zone. Operating from GDI's Singapore base it was conducting a campaign against Nod mechanised forces on the island of Sumatra at the time of the second tiberium war. When the global ion storms hit it was badly affected and crashed into the sea off Toboali. The disorganized GDI foces on the island were consequently routed by the Brotherhood's armour. After the Firestorm crisis had passed and GDI forces where regrouping from their battles, local Nod forces securing their territory found the crashed Kyushu semi-submerged off the coast. Without the resources to recover it themselves they reported it to the regional warlord, Hajim Qatar. Qatar used his naval assets to salvage the crashed Kyushu and return it to his base of operations at Darwin on the Australian coast. There the Brotherhood engineers repaired it as best they could and it was renamed 'Hand of Kane'. Refitted with ion dissapation gear, stealth field emmiters,a laser capacitor grid and a powerful beam cannon (Usually found on the Brotherhood's Obelisks of Light) the Hand of Kane commanded Nod operations in Oceania right up untill the third Tiberium war. Its last reported action was at the battle of Darwin during the Scrin invasion when it took on a Scrin mothership with its beam cannon.

VF-1A Valkyrie by Spoot Knight The Stonewell / Bellcom VF-1A Valkyrie (The "A" variant being the standard) is a three-in-one combat system developed by U.N. Spacy. She saw first flight February, 2007 in atmospheric conditions and had her first space flight June, 2007. The Valkyrie entered service November 2008 and was first deployed February 7, 2009. The armaments of the Valkyrie consist of one external GU-11 gunpod, a 55mm cannon with 200 rounds firing at a rate of 1,200 rounds per minute. The "A" variant is also armed with one RÖV-20 anti-aircraft laser cannon, located under the nose / fuselage, firing at a rate of 6,000 shots per minute. The "J" and "D" variants have two, while the "S" variant has four. Missile armaments are located on four hardpoints under the wings and can consist of up to 12 AMM-1 multipurpose missiles (Three per hardpoint), six RMS-1 anti-ship reaction missiles (Two per outbound and one on inbound pylons), 12 Mk-82 free falling conventional bombs (Three per pylon), or four UMM-7 missile pods (Carrying 15 HMM-01 micromissiles). Secondary loadouts may also be used in combinations for multiple tasks. The unique feature of the VF-1 series is the ability to transform into one of three "modes," with "Fighter mode" as the default launch setting. Fighter mode: The typical mode used for aerial / space combat. In fighter mode, the Valkyrie can almost reach a top speed of mach four (3.87) above 30,000 meters, while maintaining speeds of up to mach 2.71 at 10,000 meters. GERWALK mode: (This mode is called "Guardian" in Robotech) This is the second mode which is used in low-altitude combat, keeping the maneuverability of the Fighter mode while using the abilities of the third mode such as walking and hovering. In GERWALK mode, the Valkyrie holds the GU-11 gunpod using manipulator hands. The Valkyrie's airspeed tops at 500 km/h, while walking at a maximum speed of 100 km/h. Battroid mode: (Called Battloid" in Robotech) This mode turns the Valkyrie into a full-blown walker, used primarily for ground combat. The head of the Battroid is what used to be the RÖV-20 turret; the GU-11 is still held like a rifle. If needed, the Battroid can be used for combat at extremely low altitudes, with an airspeed of 220 km/h, and can run at 160 km/h.

SA-43 Hammerhead From Space: Above & Beyond, the short-lived FOX sci-fi series from the mid-90's. Great idea, poor execution, in my opinion. Highly trained fighter pilots are not used as infantry! F-103 Excalibur by Spoot Knight This is the Terran Confederation F-103A Excalibur Heavy Fighter as seen in the year 2669. The Excalibur is 32 meters in length, but for its size, is extremely fast and agile, with speed and maneuverability equal to that of the 20 meter Arrow Light Fighter. The shields are thin for a heavy fighter, but the reactor's power output is so great, that the shields recharge almost instantly, making penetrating the shielding of the Excalibur almost impossible. The F-103A is armed with six primary banks, four Tachyon Cannons and two Reaper Cannons, which at the time was one of the most powerful loadouts imaginable. The secondary loadout consists of six Spiculum Image Recognition missiles and six Pilum Friend or Foe missiles. Excaliburs became outdated during the Nephilim invasion in the 2680's even though they were still more heavily armed than the newer Confederation fighters, they were considered too fragile to be put into maximum use against the Nephilim.
